The ad film is Philips’ attempt to encourage viewers to embrace cooking — whether it is the home-cooked “golgappe” during a rainy day, or making crisp, golden brown “vada” in the kitchen, or churning out “ice golas” to treat the kids.
The message is simple — the cooking ideas and their implementation are a breeze with Philips Kitchen Appliances.
What Is In the Philips Kitchen Appliances Ad Campaign?
The commercial shows instances of joy, love, and friendship while demonstrating the practicality of Philips’ state-of-the-art array of kitchen appliances in daily life.
The advertisement clip depicts happy, romantic, and friendly situations while capturing cultural and sociological subtleties from several regions.
What’s In The Film? A young expectant couple is shown savoring home-cooked “golgappe” on a wet day, while another couple is seen quietly savoring the crisp, golden-brown “vada” in their kitchen.

Asked about the new campaign, Pooja Baid, marketing head, Philips Domestic Appliances India Ltd, said, “Chatkare campaign aims to celebrate cooking as a joyful everyday experience and food as a medium to bond with your loved ones. It also celebrates the “Me” time that the consumers get by cooking different culinary delights with Philips Kitchen appliances.”
Ogilvy India has conceptualised the ad campaign. Ritu Sharda, CCO, Ogilvy India (North), said: “When conceptualising this campaign for today’s generation, we wanted to demonstrate the joy of cooking that Philips brings to every Indian household. The jingle captures how we are always looking for a moment of chatkare and Swanand’s voice just adds magic to those moments. Each instance has been chosen to perfectly convey the message of “jab chahein khushiyan pakayein [cook happiness whenever you want],” added.
